Few players in the history of Louisiana College softball had careers to match that of Sandi Clark-Webb, a standout pitcher and batter on the 2003 NCCAA National Championship team and multiple-time NCCAA All-American and American Southwest Conference Pitcher of the Year. She came to Louisiana College in 2003 after a distinguished high school career at Oak Hill High School in Hineston, La. In her four years with Louisiana College, Clark-Webb struck out 556 batters and compiled a 67-17 record as a starter. Her strikeouts and wins totals stood as conference records until 2011. Additionally, Clark-Webb posted a career ERA of 1.09 and hurled 35 career shutouts. At the plate, Clark-Webb batted .290 for her career with 11 homeruns, 37 doubles, 141 hits, 95 RBI and 66 runs scored. After graduating from Louisiana College, she went on to earn her doctorate in the field of Pharmacology from Louisiana-Monroe and began a career as a pharmacist in the Pineville area where she lives with her husband, former Louisiana College football player Justin Webb.
