James Halle is one of the most decorated pitchers to play baseball at Louisiana College. From 2003 to 2006 Halle set school records in three different pitching categories.  He is the Wildcats career leader in wins with 21, innings pitched with 277.2, complete games with 15 and second in school history with 188 career strikeouts.
James’ 2005 season was exceptional as he pitched seven complete games, picked up seven wins on the year, threw the first no-hitter in Wildcats history, was a member of the all-conference team and named ASC Player of the Year.  After graduating from Louisiana College, James began his teaching and coaching career with Tioga High School before eventually joining the staff at Louisiana College for the 2011 through 2013 seasons at a pitching coach.
During his time coaching at LC he oversaw a pitching staff that had the lowest ERA, most strikeouts, and fewest walks allowed over a three-year span. He coached 2010 ASC Freshman of the Year Cole Prejean and 2013 ASC Pitcher of the Year Seth Webster, while helping the team to three consecutive berths in the ASC conference tournament.
