How Can I Prepare?
Motions: A good skill set is important, but you must also know how to “lead a crowd” and cheer in front of fans. Yelling loud with natural collegiate cheering expressions, sharp motions, and proper motion placement is very important.
Jumps: Proper placement and form are very important. Be prepared to perform a single and double touchdown, right hurdler, and a pike.
Chants: Members should be prepared to quickly learn chants and perform them.
Dances: A short dance will be taught at the clinic and performed for tryouts.
Tumbling: Tumbling is not required but encouraged if skills are clean and can be performed with a spot.
Stunts: All members must be versatile with whom they can stunt and with positions. Bases should be prepared to perform as both main and side.
We do not have a weight or height restriction.
