Robert “Bobby” Magee left his mark on the baseball program here at Louisiana College.

Bobby played second base and shortstop on the Wildcat team and was selected to All Conference all four years that he played at LC. He also picked up the Newcomer of the Year award his first year at LC and the Kite Caudell Award his senior year. In between, he was named LC Player of the Year three years.

Many years after setting these records, he still holds the following distinctions: highest season batting average (.452), best strikeout per bat ratio (49 - 3 strikeouts in 146 at bats), career highest batting average (.408), and most hits in a career (222).

Currently, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Minden, Bobby continues to support youth baseball by coaching in area youth leagues.

Bobby is married to the former Tracy Flaherty. They have two children.
