MANSFIELD, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University men's golf program topped the podium at a non-LCU hosted event in over a decade as first year Head Coach John Nobles' student-athletes dominated the field consisting of Arlington Baptist and Dallas Christian, running away with the DCC Collegiate Pro-Am Tournament title with a two-day score of 592 as Wildcats made up the second through sixth slots on the final leaderboard.

Match Recap: 
 

• Sophomore Stanislaus Sztur led all competitors after the opening round with a score of 70, on top of his 74 in the final go-round, earned himself runner-up status at 144, just two strokes behind the Crusaders' Caleb Coffman.

 

• Sophomore Blake Francis was a model of consistency, sporting identical 73s to wind up with the theoretical bronze medal via a total of 146.

 

• Junior Cooper Ware kept two shots off Francis' pace to end the fall season sporting a respectable 148 and a fourth place finish.

 

• The trio of freshman Landon Beier, Joshua Faulk, and Jackson Nobles all did well enough to occupy top-ten placements, grabbing fifth (149), sixth (156), and tenth (163), respectively.

 

• Lastly, the club's only senior, Collin Stinson, sat just outside of the elite range but still one of the top dogs under the East Texas weekday sun, was in the low end of the teens courtesy of a 165, good for 11th overall.
