Game Recap:
- The victory was the last of a season-long five-game winning streak in which they scored four of the Cats' six runs (66.7%) and five of its dozen (41.7%) base knocks against the eventual Hattiesburg Regional Finalists during its four-contest series with them.
- Entering the bottom of the sixth inning trailing 2-0, the Orange and Blue had logged just three baserunners over the first five frames (none since the second) before hanging four runs and three hits on the scoreboard as well as capitalizing on two miscues from the visitors.
- Graduate student BreAnna Corkern tallied one of her nine multi-hit performances of her final year on "The Hill", going 2-for-3 (.667) with an RBI-double that put the comeback in motion.
- Senior Lexie Marks had the other two-bagger of the afternoon as part of the previous at-bat, lacing the first of the back-to-back extra-base missiles as she easily scored the first run of the day.
- Junior Jordan Dauthier's RBI-single back up the middle with one out knotted the proceedings at two with senior pinch-runner Hailey Vitrano crossing the dish while senior Alyssa Landry put the ladies in front for good via a fielder's choice and finally, sophomore Hannah Harrison, who came on to run for Landry and promptly stole her first career base, tacked on a huge insurance run.
* Carpenter kept the home nine within striking distance, contributing a career-high five innings of two-run work without a walk as part of her fourth and final start on the bump.
* Louviere benefitted from the rally by her teammates to up her record to 7-1 after facing one above the minimum in the top of the sixth along with one punchout.
* Closing out the dub was Broussard, picking up her third collegiate save, dancing around danger as the Crusaders had the go-ahead run at the dish with one down before the backstop, Dauthier, threw behind the runner at third to pick her off for the second out as Broussard caught the tying run looking at strike three.
