Â
PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program had not thrown a no-hitter in two years prior to last weekend and now they have two in a span of the past five days as the pitcher who threw the no-no on Saturday,
Katelyn Carpenter, teamed up with
Addison Greak to put a goose egg in both the hit and run columns in game two on Wednesday as LCU swept Crowley's Ridge in a double shutout, 7-0 and 3-0.
Â
This is the first season since 2017 that the Orange and Blue have recorded multiple no-hit bids when they did it at Howard Payne on February 24 before logging a perfect game on March 31 versus Mary Hardin-Baylor.
