Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Jordan Dauthier was the savior for the Wildcats, stepping to the plate with the bases loaded and nobody out, down one in the seventh to deliver the knockout blow, a two-RBI double that gave the Cats their first true walk-off win of the season.

  • Carley Koch was the other student-athlete with multiple runs batted in, going 4-for-7 (.571) with a pair of ribbies plus a double and a run.

  • Arlee Darbonne got the pitching start in the opener and shone brightly, cruising through four shutout frames while having more whiffs (3) than baserunners (2).

  • Game two saw five different players enter the pitching circle with the final two sporting unblemished marks to their ERAs as Calyn Brister and Brooke Ross each contributed a perfect frame with Brister adding a strikeout.

  • BreAnna Corkern got on-base five times in seven tries on Friday, guiding three singles away from the defenders and coaxing a pair of free passes.

  • Lexie Marks went 2-of-3 (.667) and a run batted in while Alyssa Landry keeps her hot streak going strong during a 4-of-7 (.571) outing that included reaching the painful way via bean ball.
