HOBBS, N.M. – The Louisiana Christian University men's golf team wrapped up its 2026 season on Wednesday, wrapping up the 2026 Red River Athletic Conference Golf Championships in a tie for sixth-place at the Rockwind Community Links.
Leading the way for Louisiana Christian, as he has all season, was
Blake Francis. His highlight in the tournament came on the par-five 14
th hole where he carded an eagle in the first round, helping pull him back to six-over par on the day. He finished day one with a seven-over par, 79. Day two saw him card a 13-over par, 85 before finishing the tournament on day three with another 79, seven-over. He finished in a tie for 22
nd place overall with a +27 (243).
Clayten Ray wasn't far behind, carding a pair of +8 (80) in rounds one and three around a +14 (86) in round two. He finished in 25
th place overall with a +30 (246).
Cooper Ware went +11 (83) on day one, +15 (87) on day two, before finishing with a +17 (89) in the final round. He finished in 31
st place at +43 (259).
Sladen Lyles wrapped things up for the Wildcats with a +41 (113) on day one, a +20 (92) on both days two and three, finishing with a +81 (297) for 33
rd place.
