Francis Finishes 9th During Hal Sutton Invitational

BOSSIER CITY, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's golf program started the final day in a three-way tie for second place and wound up cutting seven strokes off previous round's score but fell to the middle of the pack as they ended the Hal Sutton Invitational in fifth place out of nine with a +47.

Wildcats Top Performers:
 
  • Blake Francis logged his second top-ten finish of the season, topping the team with a ninth-place finish at +7 (151).
 
  • Landon Beier blew his previous-best placement (31st, +11) out of the water at Centenary, falling one shy of his lowest score (+12) but rising 13 spots up to 18th overall.
 
  • Stanislaus Sztur rounded out the top-three Wildcats for the week, also upping his 2023-24 top finish a pair to 24th courtesy of a +16 (160).
 
  • Joshua Faulk was the lone LCU student-athlete to improve his standing from the opening round, rocketing up six spots to 27th for a +16 (160).
 
  • Collin Stinson was the final competitor representing Louisiana Christian University at Stonebridge, coming in 33rd (+18, 162).
