Francis, a junior from Rayne, Louisiana, put forth his highest single event ranking of his three-year LCU tenure in Bossier City, Louisiana, earning a spot in the top-five by virtue of a tie alongside Jacksonville (Texas) CC's Cooper Camp, each scoring a +5 (149) courtesy of seven birdies plus 19 pars, giving him positive result in an impressive 68.4% of holes (26-of-38).

The Notre Dame High School product previously earned the honor on March 26, 2024, making it back-to-back seasons he has collected the hardware immediately following the Hal Sutton Invitational, adding it to his trophy case on top of winning the Red River Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2023.

He and his teammate Cooper Ware are done competing in March with one last regular season tournament scheduled for April 7-8 in Brenham, Texas with Blinn College serving as the host institution.
