OPELIKA, Ala. – The Louisiana Christian University men's golf program made a rare trip East of the Mississippi River for the Spring Break Invitational hosted by Lawrence Tech University from Southfield, Michigan.
 
Blake Francis was the top finisher for Head Coach Josh Graham, finishing the week as a borderline top-20 placement with eight birdies and 28 pars over three rounds (54 holes), winding up at a +15 / 231, 21st place allotment.
 
Cooper Ware rose three spots on the final day of action to end the competition in 56th, birding three holes (all in round three) and hit even 21 times in total to register a score of +39 above par or 255 strokes.
 
Next for the golfers is a much shorter hike to Bossier City for the Hal Sutton Invitational from Monday, March 17 to Tuesday, March 18, hosted by Centenary.
