WACO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program has become accustomed to heroics since Princis Goff made her way to Pineville and it was on display once again in a pair of wins as she was honored as the Red River Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Goff, a junior power forward from Atlanta, Louisiana, has now claimed an RRAC weekly accolade in each of the four months so far in 2024-25 with three offensive honors (November 18, December 23, February 10) and one defensive selection (January 27).
 
The now six-time weekly award winner has now pulled off Herculean-type performances in back-to-back seasons at Texas A&M-Texarkana, making her RRAC debut last season by dropping 34 points and splashing a game-winning three-pointer as time expired to beat the Eagles in 2023-24 before exploding for season-highs of 31 points on 10 field goals to lead the Wildcats back from down 16 to win in 2024-25.
 
The comeback was the club's biggest of the year by four points (November 23 at North American) while she had as many points in the fourth quarter alone (13) than the entire TAMUT team (13).
 
For the week, the former LSU Eunice Tiger led the Orange and Blue in free throw percentage (86.4%), three-point percentage (30%), points (27.0 / 54), free throws made (9.5 / 19), field goals (8.0 / 16), assists (3.5 / 7) and three-pointers (1.5 / 3) while also shooting 38.1% from the field as well as averaging 5.5 (11) rebounds per game.
 
The Cats ride a two-game winning streak into Hobbs, New Mexico where they will face the Southwest Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. central time on Thursday evening.
