WACO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball team saw one of its members honored in the postseason awards as
Kylei Leblanc was named First Team All-Conference and to the Champions of Character team the Red River Athletic Conference announced on Friday.
Leblanc, a sophomore forward/center from Lake Charles, La., saw her name among postseason award winners for a second year in a row after being named an All-Conference Honorable Mention following her freshman campaign a year ago.
In 2025-26, Leblanc averaged 16.3 points per game while hitting 45.8 percent from the field, to lead the Wildcats.
She also grabbed nine rebounds a game, came up with 2.9 steals per game, blocked 2.1 opposing shots per contest, and dished out 1.7 assists to her teammates each time out. She had 14 points-rebounds double-doubles during the season.
During the season, Leblanc was honored with four RRAC weekly awards, one offensive and three defensive, and earned a NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week award as well.
Leblanc was also honored with LCU's spot on the Conference's Champions of Character team as the player who best embodies the NAIA's five core values of its Champions of Character program – integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
