Goff Earns All-RRAC First Team, Tanks & Scott Among Honorable Mentions

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program received some well-deserved recognition by the conference on the evening prior to their RRAC Quarterfinals showdown with LSUS as Princis Goff landed on the First Team, Deja Tanks and Olivia Scott made the Honorable Mentions while Skyler Garza was selected as the team's Champions of Character representative.
 
Goff, a sophomore guard / forward and LSU Eunice transfer from Atlanta, Louisiana, became the first lady to in three years to win LSWA (Louisiana Sports Writers Association) Player of the Week, claimed a pair of RRAC Players of the Week, and notched seven double-doubles. She was one of the nation's scoring leaders all season long, concluding the campaign with a healthy 18.1 points per game in addition to 7.7 boards, 2.6 steals, and 1.3 assists, rounding out an all-around balanced debut at LCU.
 
Tanks, a junior forward and also a former Bengals teammate at LSUE from Lake Charles, Louisiana, topped the team in rebounds per game (9.9) and double-doubles (9) while slotting in at 11th nationally for offensive rebounds (116) to go along with putting together 9.2 points a contest.
 
Scott, a senior guard from Lafayette, Louisiana, was the go-to woman when the Cats needed a make from beyond the arc as she led the Orange and Blue regarding both threes (43) and three-point percentage (32.6%). The four-year player who spent her entire career on "The Hill", tallied 14 contests in 2023-24 with ten-plus points and dropped nearly three dimes per matchup.
