BOSSIER CITY, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's golf team could only get 27 holes in of the scheduled 54 holes at the Hal Sutton Invitational before the rains moved in, but it was good enough to see the Wildcats finish the event fifth out of ten teams at the Golf Club at Stonebridge.
As he has all season,
Ryan Palmer was at the front of the Wildcat attack on the link, collecting another top-five individual finish as he finished tied for second at three-over par, just one shot back of the leader.
Nick Grabowski finished tied for 20
th at 11-over par.
Landon Nobles finished tied for 24
th at 14-over par.
Luke Myers moved up to finish tied for 32
nd at 16-over par.
Collin Stinson finished tied for 44
th at 22-over par.
Overall, the Wildcats finished the event 40-shots over par, 20 shots off the team lead. LCU will be back in action on April 18-19 at the Red River Athletic Conference Championship, looking to earn a spot in the NAIA National Championship. The RRAC Golf Championship will be held at the Victoria Country Club in Victoria, Texas.
