Louisiana College finished ninth Saturday at the American Southwest Conference Championships in Abilene, TX.
Junior Haleigh Lachney was the top finisher for LC, placing 36th with a time of 26:18.7 in the 6K event. Twin sister Maycee Lachney was next for LC, finish 40th in a time of 26:47.2.
Rounding out the scoring for LC were: Alyssa Hollier, 56, 28:05.4; Essence Alexander, 69, 29:52.3; and Corieon Austin, 77, 32:05.4.
