The Birmingham-Southern Panthers used a huge second half to pull away from the Louisiana College Lady Wildcats on Wednesday, as BSC took a 60-37 win on the final day of the Berry College Classic to remain undefeated on the season.
 
The Lady Cats fought hard throughout the first half, as they went into the locker tied with the undefeated Panthers 25-25.
 
But a shooting drought plagued LC throughout the entire second half, as they scored just three points in the third quarter and shot just 14.7% (5-for-34) in the final 20 minutes.
 
Freshman Rydeja McQuarn was the lone Lady Wildcat in double figures, as she scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds on the day.
 
Center Josey Broussard narrowly missed her first career double-double, as she scored 8 points and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds.
 
Louisiana College (2-7 overall) will get back to American Southwest Conference play on Saturday, as they return to their home court to take on Mary Hardin-Baylor at 1:30 p.m. in the H.O. West Fieldhouse.
