PINEVILLE, LA - Despite some unexpected struggles over the course of the previous four months, the Louisiana College Lady Wildcats closed out their 2013-2014 home schedule out on a positive note, as they had one of their most impressive offensive days of the season in a 95-69 win over Ozarks in their home finale.

The Lady Cats jumped out to a 49-42 lead at halftime by making 20 of their 43 shots from the field and forcing 18 Ozarks' turnovers.

LC looked well on their way to a runaway win in the second half when a three-pointer from Kaci Willis off an assist from Karylon Thornton gave the Lady Cats a 73-52 lead with 13:38 left in regulation. But a brief 8-0 run by the Eagles over the next three minutes would cause LC head coach Jason Tinsley to call a timeout.

That 13 point deficit proved to be the closet the Eagles would get the rest of the game, as LC responded to their head coach's urge to finish the next 10 minutes with the Lady Wildcats' signature energy and passion that has resulted in four consecutive ASC East championships over the previous four seasons.

LC would go on an 18-8 run after the timeout to take a commanding 91-60 lead and closed out from there to take the 26 point win.

The Lady Cats had four players in double figures, led by Kaci Willis who had a season high 21 points to go along with five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Neka Jones (16 points), Danisha Allison (14 points, nine rebounds), and Natosha Morvant (10 points, eight rebounds) also reached double figures for an LC team that shot 47% (39-83) from the field, their second highest mark of the season.

The win moves LC to 15-9 overall with a 13-8 mark in conference play and with one game remaining on the schedule, that coming on Monday at Mississippi College, the Lady Wildcats are ensured of a fifth place finish in the ASC standings and the #5 seed in next week's ASC Tournament.
