Box Score
The Louisiana College Lady Wildcats picked up their third straight ASC win on Thursday night in Clarksville, AR, as they were able to use the momentum from a dominant first half to secure an 81-64 win over the University of the Ozarks.

The Lady Wildcats jumped out to a 50-25 lead at the half after shooting at a 48.7% (19-39) clip in the first 20 minutes.

The Eagles would go on to outscore LC 39-31 in the second half, closing the gap to 15 points at the 2:41 mark, but that is as close as they would get, as the Lady Wildcats were able hold off the late surge to take the win.

The LC bench was dominant, outscoring the Ozarks 38-14 on the night, while the Lady Cats forced 20 turnovers despite being outrebounded 43-37.

Junior forward Kaci Willis recorded her second consecutive double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds on the night to go along with  a team-high six assists.

Junior forward Skylar Chenevert (11 points, four rebounds) and freshman guard Baylie Butler (12 points) also registered in double digits for the Lady Wildcats while the Eagles' Taylor Farmer went for a game-high 26 points.

The win moved LC (10-3 overall, 8-2 in ASC) into sole possession of second place behind Texas-Tyler (12-2 overall, 10-1 in ASC) in the ASC standings. LC will have an opportunity to close that gap in the standings, as they travel to Tyler, TX on Saturday to take on the Patriots at 1:00 p.m. in a game that could have significant implications on the ASC title chase.
