Certainly no stranger to hitting three-pointers in high volume, the Louisiana College Lady Wildcats did something no other team has done in the 16-year history of the American Southwest Conference.
 
The Lady Cats, who went over the century mark in points for the fifth time this season, hit a new American Southwest Conference record 21 three-point shots.
 
Also of not, Thursday's win marked the third time in as many seasons under head coach Jason Tinsley that the Lady Wildcats have reached the 20-win plateau.
 
This win, a 111-50 victory over The Ozarks, came in exceptionally dominant fashion, led by senior Natosha Gottlieb and sophomore Karylon Thornton.
 
Gottlieb, who is now just seven assists away from 200 for her career, finished with 27 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Thronton went for 20 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
 
Combined, the duo hit 11 three-pointers, with Gottlieb hitting five while Thronton drained six shots from beyond the arc.
 
LC's 21 made three-pointers came on 41 shots from deep, an unbelievable 51.2% clip. The Lady Wildcats dished out 30 assists (led by Shaina Howard who had eight) compared to only seven turnovers.
 
LC now sits alone atop the ASC's Eastern division at 15-0 in conference play, 20-1 overall. They will travel to Dallas to take on UT-Dallas on Saturday at 1 p.m.
