Interview with CTX's Shamika Singleton
Concorida led by 16 at the half and never looked back en route to the semifinals. Senior Shamika Singleton was the star of the game, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to pace Concordia (21-4). Jessie Pittman added 10 for the Tornados. Ozarks (13-13) was led by Sabrina Goddard with 15 points and Jordyn Ferrell with 10.

Interview with UTD's Lyndsey Smith
Texas Dallas's Comets overcame a 14-point deficit to eliminate reigning American Southwest Conference Champion Howard Payne. UTD trailed 34-24 at half but thanks to a late three pointer by Christina Brosnahan and key free throws by Lyndsey Smith advanceed to the semifinals on Saturday. Three players reached double-figure scoring for the Comets. Brosnahan put up 14, Smith finished with an 11-point, 14-rebound double-double and Brittany Houston scored 12 and pulled seven boards. Brittany Roberson was Howard Payne's top performer with 16 points. Roshonda Gayden added 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Interview with McMurry's Rikeita Thomas
McMurry 63, Mississippi College 59
In a game in which neither team enjoyed a lead larger than seven, McMurry edged Mississippi College by four with late shots by Rikeita Thomas and Celeste Belizario. Keshia Collins, though, was McMurry's top performer with 17 points and six rebounds. Thomas scored 13 and Belizario scored 12 while pulling nine rebounds. MJ Vickers was good for 11 boards. MC was paced by 15 points from Elizabeth Brooks, 11 from Caitlin brown and 10 apiece from Ebony Williams and Traci Rodgers.

Louisiana College 59, Hardin-Simmons 53

The Wildcats struggled from the field but were solid on defense to tough out a win in the opening round and earn a aberth in their third-straight conference tournament semifinal. Senior guard
Roslyn Wilmer led the way with 16 points and freshman
Kala Chenier added eight for LC. Hardin-Simmons had two players achieve a double-double. Angela Newcombe had 15 points and 17 rebounds and Kara Looten scored 10 points and pulled 14 rebounds. The Cowgirls' Alexis Poplar led all scorers with 21.

Concorida earned a berth in the American Southwest Conference Tournament's championship game outlasting Texas Dallas in a game that featured a combined 67 turnovers. Paige Parrish led Concordia in scoring with 16 points while Termeka Canada and Brianna Smith added 10 apiece. Texas Dallas' top performer was Lyndsey Smith, who put up a 17-point, 13-rebound double-double. Jo'Anna Davis added 10 off the bench.

The Lady Cats advanced to their third straight ASC Championship game after a 22-point win over McMurry. Senior guard
Roslyn Wilmer led all scorers with 21 points to go along with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. Junior
Natosha Gottlieb added 16 points, seven boards, three assists and one block while senior
Shasidy Ludgood put up 14 points. McMurry was paced by a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double from Keshia Collins. Celeste Belezario scored 12.

Interview with CTX coach Rusty Rainbolt
Concordia led wire-to-wire and claimed the ASC Tournament crown. Tournament MVP Shamika Singletary posted a 13-point, 17-rebound double-double to lead CTX. Termeka Canada scored 20 and Lashanda Luckey scored 18 points and grabbed 13 boards. LC was led by
Natosha Gottlieb with 12 points. It was the Lady Cats' first loss in H.O. West Fieldhouse in more than three seasons.
