KANSAS CITY – The #24 Louisiana Christian University baseball team will made its third-straight appearance in the NAIA National Championship Tournament after being named as the two-seed in the Lawrenceville Bracket of the 69
th Annual NAIA National Championship Tournament Opening Round on Wednesday.
#24 Louisiana Christian (35-13) will open play in the Opening Round on May 11 against the bracket's three-seed, #23 Marian. The Knights (35-16) also earned an at-large spot out of the Crossroads League. Time of first pitch between the Wildcats and Knights will be announced at a later time.
The five-team, double-elimination Opening Round Lawrenceville Bracket is being hosted by #3 and one-seed, Georgia Gwinnett (43-6), who receives a bye into the winner's bracket. The Grizzlies will take on the winner of the game featuring the other two teams selected to go to Lawrenceville, the four-seed (RV) Racers of Northwestern Ohio (36-16) and five-seed Talladega Tornadoes (31-17).

th Annual NAIA Baseball National Championship Tournament Opening Round runs May 11-14 at 10 different locations across the country. The winners of the 10 Opening Round brackets will convene in Lewiston, Idaho and Harris Field at Ed Cheff Stadium for the Avista NAIA Baseball World Series, which runs May 22-30.
