KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The Louisiana Christian University baseball program will head to the Volunteer State, specifically Kingsport, Tennessee, as their 2025 NAIA Regional destination was revealed on Tuesday afternoon.

The Wildcats will need to travel approximately 70 miles longer than last year's bus ride to Lawrenceville, Georgia (Georgia Gwinnett) and just under 12 hours of driving time in order to get to Hunter Wright Stadium, home of the Kingsport Axmen in the Appalachian League.

LCU is the fifth seed for the second straight season and the pod will not be hosted by a specific college or university, but rather the department of tourism for the city; Visit Kingsport.

The field that Coach Byrnes and company will face include the top seed and third-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs, the second seed and (RV) Cumberland-Tennessee Phoenix, the third seed Columbia (Missouri) Cougars, and the fourth seed Indiana Tech Warriors.

Game one of the regional will take place at 10 a.m. CT and 11 a.m. local time (ET) versus the fourth seed Indiana Tech Warriors from Fort Wayne with the winner taking on the top seed and third-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs out of Athens at 5 p.m. CT later that same day.

On the other side of the bracket sit the second seed / (RV) Cumberland (Tennessee) Phoenix as well as the third seed Columbia Cougars hailing from Missouri.

The Orange and Blue have never faced any of the other ball clubs in their 87-year history while live stats can be found here and every contest will be live streamed here.
