PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University baseball program have awakened their once dormant bats, bombarding Southwest (New Mexico) pitching to the tune of a 2025-high 18 hits, 12 runs, 11 RBIs, nine hits, and a .450 average in game two, securing the series with a 12-7 triumph Friday night.

Five batters put together multi-hit performances, an equal number of Wildcats notched multiple RBIs, and ten separate student-athletes crossed the dish.

- Brady Huffman and Braxton Cooksey each were a perfect 3-of-3, both of them drove in a pair of RBIs apiece and combined to score a quarter of the club's runs.

- Jacob Bareswill saw his record rise to 3-0 this season and 7-1 over his LCU tenure, averaging a strikeout per inning pitched while allowing two runs over five frames.

- The trio of Hunter Gotreaux, Tyler McKenna, and Chris Kelley all smacked two base knocks, the first of the three drove home two teammates, the second reached a team-most four times with two hits (one double) plus two walks, and Chris Kelley got on-base thrice along with a score.

- Coleman Haltom did not cede an earned run in his two innings of work on top of two Ks and Cowan Alfonso cleaned up the final three outs of the series clincher, going 1-2-3 against the Mustangs' 6-7-8 hitters.
