Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Luke Morgan and Tyler McKenna were the duo to achieve the feat as Morgan clobbered his first career bomb in his 59th at-bat while McKenna reached double-digits as a slugger in Pineville, walloping a no-doubter onto the train tracks behind the right field wall for his tenth long ball, third of 2025.

                        * McKenna was a menace to society, a.k.a Wiley University, going 2-of-2 with a pair of free passes, two RBIs, and three runs scored.

  • The terrific trio of Owen Simoneaux, Kade Linn, and Cowan Alfonso were the highlights of the designated bullpen game for Head Coach Mike Byrnes with Simoneaux earning his first win, Linn striking out the side, and Alfonso sitting down two of the three Wildcats he faced on strikes.

  • RRAC Player of the Week Harrison Waxley kept his white-hot pace, smoking his second round-tripper of the season (fourth of his career), a two-RBI moonshot to drive in McKenna, on top of a walk, single, two scores, and even four strikeouts over two frames on the bump.

  • Nick Lorio was the third and final student-athlete with a multi-hit night, producing a 2-for-5 showing in which he and Adrian Aguilar perfectly executed a double steal.

  • Caleb Duhon was 2-for-2 in terms of putting a run on the scoreboard if he reached safely and Chris Kelley came through with the bases loaded for a pinch-hit, two-run single through the middle of the diamond in the Wildcats' final half inning.
