WACO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University softball program did not need to wait until April to have one of its hurlers in the circle earn recognition among the league's best over a seven-day span as right-hander Addison Greak won the Red River Athletic Conference's first Pitcher of the Week in 2025.
 
Greak, a senior from Pearland, Texas, pitched just her second career complete game, not walking a single Central Christian batter in addition to three strikeouts during seven innings of one-run work. She led all Wildcats starting pitchers with her trio of Ks plus an ERA / WHIP of 1.00.
 
Softball returns to the Champions Sportsplex for the second weekend in-a-row, this time for the Generals Showdown with matchups including Oklahoma Panhandle State, Texas Wesleyan, Central Baptist and #14 William Carey.
