PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University baseball program had a difficult time solving the puzzle that was LSUA starting pitcher Brenyn Ebarb, who limited the home nine to just one-run in a complete game effort as the Cats look to salvage the series in game three following a 5-1 defeat in seven.

• Tyler McKenna was the only thing that kept the Wildcats from being shutout for the fourth time this season, blasting a ball towards the highway with his second jack of the year and ninth at LCU for his only hit and the club's only one that went for extra bases.

 

• Colton Williams shut out the visiting Generals over 1.1 frames and Cy Fontenot fanned seven batters in 5.2 innings.

 

• Both Chris Kelley as well as Braxton Cooksey met up with First Base Coach Blaine Spencer twice as each player walked and singled.

 

• Harrison Waxley was the recipient of the other base on balls by LCU while the quartet of Nick Lorio, Braden Trull, and Brady Huffman picked up one knock apiece.
