Wildcats Top Performers:
Â
- The man of the morning, Vordick, will possibly show up in the pitcher's nightmares this week, making up exactly half of the Cats' six knocks including a trio of ribbies and his third round-tripper of 2025, the solo shot breaking a tie with Braxton Cooksey for the team's most as part of an impressive 3-for-3 affair.
Â
- Trip Flotte evened his yearly record to 1-1 with a quality start consisting of five innings in which he averaged a strikeout per frame, giving up four hits, two walks and a hit batter but MU could only muster one run off him.
Â
- The only other representative of "The Hill" to reach more than once was Brady Huffman via an RBI-single and a hit-by-pitch while scoring as well.
Â
- Kade Linn came on for the second straight day and delivered again, fanning three in a pair of innings and ceding only one base knock to secure the triumph.
Â
- Adrian Aguilar tacked on some insurance with an RBI-blooper in the fourth in addition to scoring.
