OKLAHOMA CITY – The Louisiana Christian University football team took home two weekly honors after a dominant win on Senior Day as Kylon Polk was named the Sooner Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Week while Levi Hilborn was again named Special Teams Player of the Week the SAC office announced on Monday.

Polk, a freshman safety from Loreauville, La., made history with four interceptions during Saturday's 77-6 win over Arkansas Baptist, one of which he returned 53 yards for his first career touchdown. Polk also had four tackles in the contest, three of which were solo. This is Polk's first SAC Player of the Week award.

Hilborn, a kicker from La Porte, Texas, made all 10 of his extra points during Saturday's win over the Buffaloes while also downing a punt inside the 20. He also kicked off 11 times, putting two in the end zone for touchbacks. This is Hilborn's second SAC Special Teams Player of the Week award this season, having also won it on Sept. 15.

The Wildcats (7-3, 6-1 SAC) can clinch a share of the SAC championship, with an outside chance of earning the conference's automatic bid to the NAIA Football Championship Series, on Saturday as they head to Arizona to take on #12 Ottawa. Kickoff of Saturday's game against the Spirit (8-0, 7-0 SAC) is set for 7 p.m. MST/8 p.m. CST from Spirit Field.
