LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Louisiana Christian University baseball program will not be taking a midnight train to its NAIA Regional in the Atlanta suburb of Lawrenceville, Georgia, but they will be en route via bus as the home nine make their way approximately 600 miles due East for its first postseason appearance at this level in 37 years beginning Monday.

The Diamond Cats are the fifth seed in its double-elimination pod hosted by the #1 seed and #2 ranked Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies with all contests being played inside the
Grizzly Baseball Complex.

LCU's opening game will come against the #4 seed Bushnell Beacons out of Eugene, Oregon at 11 a.m. local time on Monday, May 13, with the winner facing GGC later that evening at 7 p.m. in the Peach State as the entire event will take place across the time zone during Eastern Standard Time.

On the other end of the bracket sit #3 seed and (RV) Ottawa Spirit who reside in Surprise, Arizona, matched up against the #2 seed and #15 ranked Faulkner Eagles hailing from Montgomery, Alabama.
