Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Adrian Aguilar was one of two players to front the Wildcats by reaching base safely a total of five times, going 3-for-4 (.750) with a double, two walks, a team-high four runs scored, an RBI, and a stolen base.

  • The other was the evening's RBI leader, Hunter Gotreaux, hitting .750 (3-of-4) as well as driving in four baserunners including a bases clearing three-run double that broke the game open during a seven-run sixth. The second baseman also crossed the plate thrice, went for a pair of two-baggers, was plunked, and drew a conventional base on balls.

  • Harrison Waxley and Nicholas Brunet both got on-base in four instances with the former coaxing three free passes with two ribbies, three scores, and a sacrifice fly while the latter was on the receiving end of two bean balls, lacing a single, and taking the game-ending walk with the bases juiced in the seventh.

  • Braden Trull (3), Brady Sers (3), and Noah Gaspard (2) all collected multi-RBI nights, hitting a combined .500 (6-for-12), touching the plate four times, walking once (Gaspard) and all three of the above blasted doubles.

  • Christian Champlain registered his first career pitching victory in his third appearance out of the bullpen, putting together 2.2 innings without allowing an earned run, striking out four Spartans and ceding a single base knock.
