BASEBALL: 'Cats complete sweep, visit McNeese on Tuesday

PINEVILLE – The Wildcats of Louisiana Christian University concluded a three-game sweep of the University of the Southwest (N.M.) with an impressive 13-6 victory Monday.
 
LCU (26-10, 18-6 RRAC) got six RBIs from shortstop Adrian Aguilar, who hit 3-run homeruns in each of the first two innings. Aguilar's six RBIs were the most by an individual LCU player this season.
 
Cy Fontenot picked up the victory on the mound for the Wildcats, improving his season record to 5-3. He struck out six batters over six and two-thirds innings. Seth Whitney pitched the remainder of the nine-inning game, striking out three batters and not allowing a base hit.
 
The Wildcats play an exhibition game at NCAA Division I McNeese State on Tuesday, April 11. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. The game will be streamed online on ESPN-Plus and the WatchESPN app. (Direct link)
