Belhaven  3-17 (3-10)  |  5th ASC East

The Blazers have los their last four games in a row coming into Monday night's rematch with the Wildcats, including the 83-47 loss at the hand of LC in Mississippi. Like the Wildcats, Belhaven were beaten in back-to-back games by UT Dallas, once in Texas and once on their home floor. Despite two straight matchups with the conference's best defense, Belhaven has had a season long issue with scoring points, averaging just 55.9 points per game and surrendering 68.2 to their opponents. As a team the Blazers are shooting 34.3 percent from the field and 27.5 percent from behind the three point line. Their top scorer this season has been AaLiyaha Thornton with a 10.5 point per game average. Post player Lauren Brooks has the team's best shooting percentage, making 48.3 percent of her shots, but only averaging 8.0 points per game. Tip-off against Belhaven is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Rapides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria, LA.

Louisiana College  10-9 (6-7)  |  4th ASC East

The Wildcats suffered their second close loss to UT Dallas on Thursday but still sit in a tournament spot with five games left on the schedule. If LC can get some help this week, three wins by the Wildcats would put them closer to overtaking UT Tyler for the third spot in the East standings. In the game Thursday, the Wildcats had their lowest offensive total of the season with 52 points, but held their opponent to the lowest total of the season as well at 56 points. The women are shooting a hair under 40 percent from the floor coming into Monday's game and averaging 69.7 points per game on the year. Brooke Jones recorded her third double-double of the season against Dallas with 10 points and 11 rebounds and is now just 14 points away from reaching the 1,000 career milestone at Louisiana College. She scored exactly that many in the Wildcats blowout win at Belhaven in just 22 minutes of playing time.

The Wildcats play three ASC games this week in the next to last week of the regular season. Monday's game will be the only one played at Rapides Coliseum, with Thursday's "Fill the Fieldhouse" game against LeTourneau and Saturday's pair with East Texas Baptist scheduled for H.O. West Fieldhouse. Stay connected to Louisiana College women's basketball by following @LC_WBB on Twitter.
