The Louisiana College men's and women's tennis teams split their matches with Jacksonville College on Saturday afternoon, with the women winning a close 5-4 decision and the men falling 9-0 to JC. The men will match with Millsaps College on March 26 and the women will next match on March 31against East Texas Baptist University.

The Wildcat women picked up their second team win of the season after Jacksonville College had to forfeit five of the nine matches due to lack of players, guaranteeing LC the team victory before the first match. LC wasn't able to win win a game in their three singles matches, falling 6-0, 6-0 in all three matches. In the lone doubles match that LC and JC played on the day Rachel Johnson and Shannon French fell 8-5.

On the men's side the Wildcats dropped all three of the doubles matches and all six of the singles matches without winnig a set. In doubles it was an 8-0 final for all three matches and a 6-0, 6-0 finish for all six singles matches.

The Wildcat men travel to Millsaps next week and return to the Ricard L. Crowell Tennis Center on April 4 against Centenary. The women travel to ETBU on March 31 for their next match and return to Pineville on April 4 against Centenary.
