After winning the first game of the three game series on Friday the Wildcats (5-18 (3-9)) were unable to continue that momentum into Saturday as they dropped both games of Saturday's double header and in turn the series.  

In the first game of the day it was two RBI doubles by LeTourneau that plated all 3 of their runs, a 2-run double in the third and a 1-run double in the fifth.  The Wildcats only managed three hits in the game but made them count to keep the game close in the later innings.  LC's runs came on a sacrifice fly by Austin Futrell and an infield single by Logan Phillips.  Phillips, Sully Martin, and Kiefer Moore each had one hit for the Wildcats in the game.

In the rubber game of the series the Yellowjackets scored the first seven runs of the game before the Wildcats were able to get on the board.  It wasn't until the 9th inning when LC was able to break through on a 2-out RBI single by Tim Griffith and then two batters later Sully Martin drove in another run on a single to left.  Martin, Kiefer Moore, and Garrett Parker all had 2 hits a piece for LC in the finale.

The Wildcats will play their 4th and 5th games of the weekend on Sunday when Rust College comes to Pineville for a double header.  Game 1 will start at 1pm and game 2 will follow that at 3pm at Billy Allgood Field.
