-- Senior Madi Hess hit a three-pointer with no time remaining, lifting the No. 2 seed Texas Dallas Comets to a thriling 70-67 win over No. 3 seed Louisiana College. The win propels the Comets to Saturday's ASC Championship final at 4 p.m.

The game was close throughout, as the Lady Wildcats (17-8) had control throughout most of the game, though not by more than five points.

With 4:22 remaining, the game was tied for the fifth time at 67-67, as LC's Danisha Allison hit a pair of free throws, setting the table for the wild finish.

Both teams would go cold over next four-plus minutes, going a combined 0-for-9, keeping fans on the edge of their seat for what would-be a thrlling finish.

With barely a tick left on the clock, the Comets' Madi Hess hit a desperation three-pointer from the corner, delivering the 70-67 win to Texas Dallas.  With the win, the Comets find themselves in their second ASC Championship game in the past three years.

Hess finished as the game's leading scorer with 16, while teammates Ashley Shaw and Amber Brown finished with 15 and 12 points respectively.

Louisiana College was led by Allison who scored 15, followed by Karylon Thornton and Neka Jones who each finished with 14 points.

Texas Dallas will face off against the winner of semifinal No. 2 between Howard Payne and defending ASC-champion Texas-Tyler at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
