Tyler Lamers, making his first career start at home, turned in an outstanding performance on the mound in game one, tossing a complete game shutout and striking out five to earn his first career win in a Wildcat uniform.

Garrett Parsons drove in the only run of the game in the bottom of the first inning with an RBI single through the left side that scored shortstop
James Santiago.
The Wildcats would then drop a tough one in game two by a final score of 7-4 after LeTourneau brought in four runs in the top of the ninth inning to complete the comeback and tie the series at one a piece.
After the LC pitching staff held the Jackets scoreless for the first 15 innings of the day, LeTourneau finally got on the board in the top of the sixth with a home run from catcher Dillon Yates over the left centerfield wall to give the visitors a 2-0 advantage.
The Wildcats would tie the game in the bottom of the sixth when Riendeau, Parsons, and right fielder
Jermaine Liggins led off the inning with three straight singles. Riendeau and Parsons would come around to score when
Cary Myers reached on a two-out error to tie the game at 2-2.
After the Jackets scored in the top half of the seventh, the Wildcats answered yet again with back-to-back RBI doubles from Riendeau and Parsons to take a 4-3 lead after seven complete innings.
Taking a 4-3 lead into the the ninth, the Wildcats were unable to hold onto that lead, as the Jackets scored four runs in the top half of the frame to take a 7-4 advantage and eventually take the game to tie the series.
Sophomore right-hander
Bo Ockman was solid in his second start of the season, tossing 7.2 innings and giving up just three earned runs despite earning a no decision.
The Wildcats and Yellow Jackets will square off on Saturday in the deciding game of the series beginning at 11 a.m.
