CLINTON, MS - Playing against Mississippi College in their final game as a Division III participant, the Louisiana College Lady Wildcats fell to the Lady Choctaws 84-73 on Monday night at the A.E. Wood Coliseum in Clinton, MS.

LC, having already secured the #5 seed in the ASC Tournament, suffered the 11 point loss in a game where they shot 25-77 (32.5%) from the field compared to a 35-64 (54.7%) performance from the Lady Choctaws.

In a fitting farewell to their senior class, Mississippi College's senior trio of Cara Beverin, Dominique Walker, and Alexus Stirgus combined to score 57 of their team's 84 points with Beverin leading the way with a game-high 21 points to go along with 12 rebounds. Walker recorded a game-high 17 rebounds.

LC had just two players reach double digits in scoring as
Natosha Morvant (11 points, eight rebounds) and
Baylie Butler (15 points) led the Lady Wildcats offensively.

The season finale loss brings LC's final regular season record to 15-10 overall and 13-9 in ASC play. They will take on ASC #4 seed Howard Payne on Friday at 5 p.m. in the first round of the ASC Tournament at the Herrington Patriot Center on UT-Tyler's campus in Tyler, TX.
