Back-to-back four run frames in the third and fourth innings by LeTourneau University, and 11 runs total in the first four innings combined, was too much for the Louisiana College baseball team to overcome in a 13-9 loss to the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday night at Wildcat Field.
LeTourneau finished the night with seven players collecting two hits or more, led by freshman catcher Dylan Yates who finished 2-for-3 at plate with three runs, two RBI, and two walks.
Yellow Jacket centerfielder Brent Sellers went 2-for-4 with a game-high four RBI, including a two RBI triple to deep right center field in the third inning.
LeTourneau finished the game with 16 total hits, 14 of which came in the first four innings.

Matt Scott led the Wildcats at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs and 2 RBI.
Jacob Trahan (0-3) took the loss for LC, throwing 1.1 innings and giving up two earned runs on five hits.
The Wildcats now stand at 11-10 on the season and will prepare for a highly anticipated conference weekend series with ASC rival Mississippi College beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at Wildcat Field.
