Coming off a doubleheader sweep of upstart ASC East rival LeTourneau, the Louisiana College softball team split a Friday ASC East doubleheader with The University of the Ozarks.
The Lady Cats dropped game one by a final score of 6-2.
Nancy Bunting took the loss in game one, her first of the season, giving up three earned runs on five hits in 2.1 innings of work in the circle.
Ozarks designated hitter Heather Roberts led the Eagles at the plate, finishing 3-for-3 with 3 RBI.

Courtney Ivey was also 3-for-3 at the plate for the Lady Wildcats.
Leslie Eastham would pick the LC up in game two with a complete victory in which she gave up three earned runs on seven hits and struck out eight, helping give LC a 5-3 win.
Stephanie Jaeger (3-for-3) and
Emily Douglas (2-for-4, 2 RBI) led the Lady Cats at the plate in game two. Jaeger also stole two bases in the second game.
LC moved to 10-3 on the season, 4-3 in the ASC. They will face off against The Ozarks again on Saturday in a doubleheader beginning at noon.
