The Louisiana College baseball team fell to Concordia University 4-0 on Saturday afternoon in the final game of a three-game weekend series.
 
The Wildcats were unable to get any offense going against Tornado starting pitcher Scott Weinschenk, who threw seven shutout innings, giving up just three hits and striking out four.
 
Weinschenk gave way to reliever Ryan Ullman, who pitched two scoreless innings in relief to give Concordia the 4-0 shutout win.
 
Josh Lang started for the Wildcats, giving up three earned runs over five innings of work, while striking out three and walking three.
 
Cary Myers had another nice day at the plate, going 2-3 to raise his season batting average to .364.
 
LC falls to 3-5 on the season, and will face in-state rival LSU-Shreveport on Tuesday night in Shreveport.
