Poor shooting plagued Louisiana College on Tuesday night in New Orleans, as the Lady Wildcats fell t o 1-1 on the season with 76-66 loss to Loyola in a mid-week non-conference matchup.

Despite rattling home 12 three-point shots, forcing 30 turnovers, and outrebounding the Wolfpack 56-53, the Lady Cats fell short due mainly in part to a 24-94 (25.5%) night shooting from the field and going just 6-16 (37.5%) from the free throw line.

LC also went just 12-56 from the three-point line while Loyola shot 43% from the field (22-51) and 82.4% (28-34) from the free throw line.

Danisha Allison was the only player in the game to record a double-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals.

The Loyola bench also outmatched LC's bench 31-18 in scoring, led by an 11 point, 4 rebound night from reserve Kylah Jones.
