MARSHALL, Texas – The Louisiana College men's tennis team got its first conference win in more than four years here Thursday, defeating East Texas Baptist 7-2.
The Wildcats, who got two points via forfeit, were one match short of sweeping the singles matches.

Daniel Bembenick defeated Anthony Williamson 6-3, 6-0; No. 3 Connor Harlow defeated Jeff Hull 6-4, 7-6; No. 4
James Clayton defeated Efrain Infante 6-4, 6-1 and No. 5 Edwin Morales defeated Nicholas Larzabal 6-2, 6-4.
In doubles action LC's Cody LeFleur and Nick Luneau defeated Infante and hull 8-4.
In other action, ETBU's Caleb Stokes defeated
Nathan Boles 6-7, 6-2, 6-1. The ETBU pair of Stokes and Williamson defeated Bembenick and Boles 8-6.
