Box Score
SHREVEPORT, La. – The Louisiana College baseball team gave the No. 6 team in the NAIA a good run Tuesday night but came up short by four runs, falling 12-8 to LSU-Shreveport.

The Wildcats (3-5) led 4-2 in the top of the third inning but three runs by the Pilots (13-1) and seven over the fifth and sixth innings proved too much for LC to overcome.

Sophomore designated hitter Matt Scott (Pineville, La./Pineville HS) had a monster game at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a homerun, two runs scored and four RBI.

Junior outfielder Cole Bagbey (Monroe, La./Sterlington HS) was good for two RBI in the game.

Senior right-hander Jordan Meisner (Baton Rouge, La./Tara HS) took the loss.

LC returns to action Friday with a visit to Texas Lutheran.
