PINEVILLE, La. - The Louisiana College Baseball team had its best offensive showing of the young season here Friday afternoon defeating Howard Payne 15-5 to improve to 2-3 on the year.

Senior shortstop Jordan Marks and junior outfielder Cole Bagbey each went 3-for-4 at the plate with Bagbey scoring three runs and driving in another and Marks scoring four runs and driving in four including two on a homerun.

Sophomore designated hitter Matt Scott went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored and senior outfielder Steven Bowman went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Justin Reed (1-1) got the win after pitching six innings and striking out four.

The Wildcats will return to action Saturday with a doubleheader with Howard Payne. The first pitch will be thrown at noon.
