PINEVILLE, La. – Louisiana College's women rebounded from a conference loss to Concordia prior to the Christmas break with solid win over Hardin-Simmons, 80-68, Thursday night.

The Lady Cats (9-2, 7-1 ASC) outscored Hardin-Simmons (4-7, 2-5 ASC) 34-29 in the first half and 46-39 in the second and forced 47 Hardin-Simmons turnovers while committing 22.

On the night LC scored 43 points off of turnovers while Hardin-Simmons scored 19.

That stat was more than enough to make up for the Lady Cats' rough night of shooting, 35 percent from the field and 25 percent from three-point range.

Melody Criswell and Kala Chenier added nine points apiece and Kaci Willis eight in the win.

Senior Roslyn Wilmer led the way with 21 for the Lady Cats while Hardin-Simmons was paced by a 16-point night by Jasmine Lewis.

LC returns to action Saturday at 1 p.m. with a conference home game against McMurry.
