LONGVIEW, Texas – The Louisiana College women won their eighth consecutive game Saturday afternoon, downing American Southwest Conference East opponent LeTourneau 88-55.

Louisiana College (16-2, 13-1 ASC) outscored LeTourneau (11-8, 7-8 ASC) 40-23 in the first half and 48-32 in the second.

Along the way the Lady Cats forced 35 turnovers and 17 steals, converting those opportunities into 37 points.

Junior Natosha Gottlieb (Alexandria, La./Bolton HS) lead all scorers with 21 and added five rebounds. Joining Gottlieb in double figures were sophomore Melody Criswell (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound HS) with 15 and freshman Neka Jones (Oakdale, La./Oakdale HS) with 11.

Freshman forward Danisha Allison (Oakdale, La./Oakdale HS) scored nine points and pulled 10 rebounds.

LeTourneau was paced by Sharday Cotton with 17.

Louisiana College returns home next week for a pair of conference games, the first of which will take place Thursday at 5:30 p.m. when LC hosts Texas-Tyler.
