SHREVEPORT, La. - The Louisiana College men continued to show improvement but fell to 0-4 after a 9-0 loss to LeTourneau in a non-conference, neutral-court match at Centenary Tuesday morning.
The duo of
Logan Quebedeaux and
Daniel Bembenick were most impressive for LC, despite coming up short in their respective matches.
In singles competition, Quebedeaux fell to Carlos Cantu and Bembenick to Uli de la Fuente both by a count of 6-3, 6-2.
Quebedeaux and Bembenick joined forced in doubles action but fell 8-4 to Cantu and Ben Albers.
In other singles action, Josh Bailey defeated Josh Jee 6-1, 6-0; Albers defeated
Michael Sumner 6-0, 6-3; Josh Millet defeated
Matt Powell 6-0, 6-0; and Kyle Lippe defeated
Cody Chauvin 6-0, 6-0.
In other doubles action, de la Fuente and Bailey defeated Powell and Jee 8-0 and Millet and Michael Vandergriff defeated Chauvin and
Josh Bonadona 8-1.
