SEGUIN, Texas – Roslyn Wilmer and Natosha Gottlieb are the Louisiana College women's basketball team's most seasoned players and Monday night they played like it in a 93-75 conference road win over Texas Lutheran.

The pair combined for 43 points in the win. Wilmer (Marksville, La./Marksville HS) was good for 29, Gottlieb (Alexandria, La./Bolton HS) 14 and the two were the only Lady Cats to reach double figures on the night.

As a team, Louisiana College played its usual up-tempo style with plenty of shots attempted turnovers forced.

On the night, the Lady Cats forced 28 turnovers and made 18 steals, which proved the difference as LC outscored TLU 38-33 in the first half and 55-42 in the second.

Rebecca Valdez was the top performer for Texas Lutheran, posting a 21-point, 12 rebound double-double. .

Louisiana College returns to action Thursday with a home-opening conference showdown with Howard Payne. The game will tip at 5:30 p.m.
